Hello & Welcome
A Message From Elder Thomas A. Pulliam, Sr.
Greetings in the Matchless Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
Truly on behalf of my wife (Mrs. Sonia L. Pulliam), and my boys (Thomas Jr. & Princeton), I want to extend our heartfelt excitement for all the Love that God has allowed to be planted in our lives. God has prospered us tremendously with favor and with the power of His Precious Love toward us. His promise for us has been greatly pursued with vigor in our spirits (Psalm 28:7). God has been good! HHM has undergone a remarkable evolution in the past five years as we’ve pursued our vision to become servants of the most High God (2 Chron 7:14). But one of the most profound changes over this time has been the richer understanding of— and deeper commitment to— sustainability that has come into focus as we have refined our views of what it means to be a leader in the Body of Christ and in the Kingdom of God (Eph 3:15-19).
Built around four equally strong commitments to God, Jesus Christ, Kingdom Work, and family, HHM vision brings together what we believe are the essential prerequisites for maintaining the long-term health and growth of our church. What is clearer than ever before, is that we cannot achieve success if we choose to pursue these goals independently. Rather, success requires that we consistently work to achieve our goals through integrated initiatives that place a high priority on moving us forward simultaneously in Kingdom Work on multiple fronts such as our HHM of Marietta Youth Church, Hug Me Teams, and all Outreach Ministries.
But if we have the advantage that much of this territory is not entirely new to the Gospel of Jesus, we also have the challenge that comes with learning to approach familiar ground in fresh ways, but still maintaining the Jesus Christ Centered Church approach. We also, for the first time, are establishing concrete Kingdom Work targets attached to our vision, and we set to obtain these goals by the end of 2014.
Meanwhile, HHM will continue to strive toward its vision of Kingdom Work leadership and its spiritual goals in the year ahead. As we do, you have our commitment that we will be working to extend the Gospel of Jesus Christ in areas where the spirit designs (Psalms 37:23). Please keep us lifted in your prayers and hearts as God moves us forward in Wisdom, Order, and Enlargement.
I Call You Blessed,
